The Mission of the Liturgical Ministries of the Church is to incorporate lay ministers as a participating part of the assembly.  All parish ministries are part of the framework of the assembly.

The Mission of the Lector is to have the privilege of proclaiming the Word of God through the readings of the Old and New Testaments.

The Mission of the Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is to facilitate the sharing in the Body and Blood of Christ.  This makes it possible for communion to be distributed by those celebrating the Eucharist together, rather than having ordained ministers.

On March 16, we received a revised protocol from the Office of the Bishop of the Diocese of Savannah regarding Masses. Effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020, there are to be no public Masses celebrated in any parish churches or missions in the Diocese of Savannah. Our chapel is available to all who wish to use it for private prayer and personal devotions. The Diocese will continue to monitor COVID-19 and will review the protocol on April 1 to determine whether Palm Sunday and Holy Week services will be open to the public. If you have any questions, please call the church office and we will do our best to assist you. You can call (912) 638-2647 orcontact us online.
