This year we are marking our 13th year in association with the Parish Twinning Program of the Americas. Our work is concentrated in the community of Côtes-de-Fer, and the surrounding mountain communities, on the south coast of Haiti served by the St. Joseph Parish. Although progress is being made, Haiti still remains the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. Education, as well as access to clean water, remains a dire need. The lack of quality medical care remains an ongoing dilemma. Poor communities throughout the country desperately need support for economic development to occur. Much work is still needed.
We invite you to join us in our mission – to help distressed communities in need of material, educational, or medical supplies. Share your skills with us and the Haitian people of St. Joseph Parish. Come to a meeting to learn more about what we do or share your talents and be a part of our effort. We are currently looking for people willing to assist us with our annual fundraising event, Fete for Haiti, “Let the Water Flow”. This year, we are focusing our efforts on drilling wells in communites where there is no source of clean, potable water.
