🎉✝️ WELCOME TO THE 2026–2027 FAITH FORMATION YEAR! ✝️🎉

📣 PARENT MEETING REMINDER! 📣
Before we officially kick off the Faith Formation year, we have one important meeting!
📅 Sunday, August 16
⛪ Immediately following the 8:00 AM Mass
👨👩👧👦 At least ONE parent AND the teen need to attend.
We’ll cover important information for the upcoming year, what’s planned for our teens, and all the things you’ll want to know before we get rolling.

Think of it as your “Welcome to the Year—Here’s What You Need to Know Before the Chaos Begins” meeting. 😂

📅 FIRST FAITH FORMATION SESSION:
Sunday, August 23
⏰ 9:00–10:15 AM
And because we know Catholic parents LOVE a good calendar… 📆😂 Here it is:
High School Calendar SY27

Welcome to Life Teen at St. William!
🚀
Sundays 4pm – 6pm

Confirmation Classes will be held Sunday mornings, 9am – 10:15am, in Room 2 of the Parish Hall.

We believe God is calling us to do something radical: build a powerhouse foundation for our high school youth! Through Life Teen, our teenagers will discover their faith, live it with unstoppable joy, and get fully equipped as world-changing disciples. We are here to back the saints of today as they launch and impact our community!  This year is going to be filled with opportunities for our children and teens to encounter Christ, grow in their faith, build friendships, and discover that being Catholic is about WAY more than memorizing answers for a quiz.
We have some great things planned, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store for our parish family this year!

We are bringing this massive vision to life, and the action goes way beyond Sundays. You are officially invited to step into the adventure with these incredible opportunities:

🔥 The Life Teen Experience

  • Ignite the Spark: High-energy nights where faith comes alive.
  • Live the Joy: Deep friendships, epic summer camp experience, and zero boring lectures.
  • Equip the Mission: Real leadership training to transform your school.
  • Transform the World: Hands-on service projects to fix actual community problems.

🍕 The Ultimate Bait: We know teenagers are basically bottomless pits. Free food and snacks are provided at every gathering, so nobody gets “hangry” during opening prayer.

The Fine Print (Showing Up Matters)
: To keep the momentum going and ensure they actually learn something, all students need to maintain at least an 80% attendance rate for the sessions. Consistency is key to becoming a spiritual powerhouse!

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR  CONFIRMATION (9th+ Grade)
THE DIOCESE REQUIRES TWO YEARS OF ATTENDANCE IN THE PROGRAM.

If your child(ren) attended St. Francis Xavier Catholic School during their 8th grade year,
please let the Director of Faith Formation know by the first day of Confirmation class.
