RECTORY RENOVATION

In early July 2024, the construction-remodel of our Rectory will begin.  Design plans have been drawn by Ussery-Rule Architects.   The plans include a private  bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen for the Pastor, two separate suites with sitting areas and kitchenettes for retired priests, and two mini-suites for additional priests and/or guests rooms for visiting priests. The current spaces of common sitting area, kitchen and dining room will remain and be refreshed.  Although four construction bids were sought, only 2 companies responded.  Steve D’Amico Studios, Inc. was low bidder and awarded the contract by the Diocese.  The project is expected to be complete in 10 to 12 months.

We could  use your help preparing for the construction

• Monday, July 1st, at 9am – the Knights of Columbus Council of St. William will be assisting our parish engineer, Jim Spaeder, with moving furniture, etc., from the Rectory to a location in the Parish Hall.  Any help from parishioners on that day will be greatly appreciated.  For further information contact Jim at 912-399-7145 or Ken Amiano, the KofC rep, at 912-230-7288.
